Hi,
It would be nice to have new political maps (not 21century map). E.g. countries borders as they were in 19th century (before WW1), or even earlier, also at roman empire times, etc. It would be geographically same map, but on political/strategy view - totally different, because we would need to occupy totally different territories to get enough money/units.

This is precisely what scenarios are for.
If you mean that we would be able to change the actual boundaries of the map, that is probably impossible at the moment.

Yeah changing the actual boundaries would be a cool feature, or just drawing out your own map and placing cites, it would be the best way to make a fun and balanced map.

I do like the idea, like having different maps to play on. But going back before the Middle Ages would generate serious problems as countries didnt exist as we know them today. They were just general areas.
