Still can't believe Russia did nothing about shot plane and assassinated ambassador. Not that i wanted something to be done(i would react exactly like Putin), but USSR would start WW3 over it, definitely. Soviet Union never thought to be in conflict with the West, Cold War is US name, USSR always aspired to revive Grand Alliance, but shot plane by NATO and killed ambassador by Turkish police officer would definitely start Third World War. as that is not proxy anymore, but direct hit.

I'm pretty amazed Russia matured and made so much progress which resulted in such calm and reasonable reaction. And i am also surprised Turkish President is seeking sovereignity in times like this where everything is dictated by Washington. People need huge sacks just to try it. Maybe we don't agree with his policies, but they are definitely independent policies made by a man who was voted into office. There's no greater freedom than that.

I've seen Turkish buses and elevators being used, also sweets and vegetables sold in Romanian stores, so from an economical point of view I think it's an economy which you need to take into account nowadays + they didn't have to go through Communism so their market and production must be more developed than Romania's + Balkans. I am also always astonished when I re-discover the number of Turks: 80kk + the ones from West, especially Germany.

Cheers

That's not the number of Turks, that's the number of people living in Turkey which includes ethnic minorities. Turks in Turkey are only 60 million.
