He used to read up on school shootings like Columbine.... he was more inspired by American gun laws than Islam.

Multiple news outlets are stating he had no religious affiliation, his family had lived in Germany all their lives, not religious. He was simply mental. Therefore Islam is not to blame.

But even if in this particular case the terrorist wasn't a Muslim, there is still plenty of instances left where the terrorist was an actual Muslim.
