Medicine Crow- the last Plains Indian Chief- passed away on April 3rd at the age of 102. He has received numerous awards from the Medal of Honour to the French Legion of Honour. He has written numerous papers concerning Native American history and culture (considered to be seminal works) BUT he is best known for his writings on the Battle of Little Bighorn- he is considered the last person to have have an oral conversation with someone involved in that very battle. May he rest in peace
