What if I take enemies cap 1 turn before he takes mine?

It never happened to me yet, but I was wondering what happens if I take enemies capital one turn before he takes mine, then he loses after 2 turns for instance, Do i still lose if dont take my capital back the next turn since its occupied by neutrals (my enemies forces before he lost)?

You still have 1 turn to retake your capital,

You lose to neutral unless you retake your capital
