Best Beginner Strategy?

Hello!

I have been playing atwar for a while, though I have never really cared about strategies until recently. As I do not have alot of experience with the game or strategies I would like to know which strats you would go for and why/for which country. I currently have Relentless Attack, Perfect Defense, Naval Commander, Imperialist, Lucky Bastard, Great Combinator, Iron Fist and Desert storm.

I suggest RA, but once u get infantry upgrade switch to pd because u save more money

RA

RA is the most basic strategy for new players since it doesn't take many upgrades to fully exploit its possibilities and heck yeah, spamming tanks is always fun if you have enough money

Just try what fits you best... dont listen to these people most of them dont even play different strategies D:. If you like to play with stealth and unnoticed troops then I guess Guerrilla Warfare /Master of Stealth is something for you.
If you like to play deffensive, then I guess Perfect deffense/Iron fist could be something for you.
If you like to play offensive, then I guess Sky Menace or/ Blitzkrieg/ Relentless attack/Naval Commander is something for you.
If you like to play both deffensive and a bit offensive but those strategies are pretty expensive to play with so make sure to pick countries with good incomes, then I guess Great Combinator, Lucky Bastard, Desert Storm.

Then you have the strategies which are good for lowincome areas, just as balkans/turkey/ukraine in europe+. Which are Guerrilla Warfare and Imperialist.
It is all just about what kind of map you play and what kind of playstyle you prefer. Most of the people here above are most likely not that experienced when it comes down to different playstyles. A little tip is to try out every strategy to get to a decision which strategies suits you best.

Also try to get the Faster infantry upgrades which basicaly makes playing with any of these strats way easier.

Though most people would argue against this: I personally like Guerilla Warfare for Europe maps, as you can crank out tons of marines (marines are half-cost with GW), and militia that are more powerful than infantry (and militia ony cost 30!).
This strategy is great for swarming enemy cities on small maps that have cities clustered close together (such as Europe)

It's a totally legit opinion, GW was my first strategy and for little maps with not too much money it works perfectly GW is really fun to play as well and it can lead you to learn a bit more about game mechanics than using RA, since this one is more of brute force while using marines involves more strategy and thinking.
