They claimed 11 million civilians were deliberately 'exterminated' in these camps, of which 5 million were made up of slavs, homosexuals, gypsies and undesirables. It was a lie. Now they claim that these people were not exterminated. They now say these people simply died of disease. They admitted this for two reasons i know of. There could be other reasons I am not aware of. Firstly, Trump failed to mention 'Jew's in a Holocaust remembrance speech. The collective zionist institutions had a conniption fit and suddenly claimed that ONLY Jews were deliberately exterminated, reducing the non-Jewish deaths to a few thousands. The second reason was due to their desire to pressure Poland into paying 'reparations' for some fictitious participation in the Holocaust. They want a third of the land in all of Poland and the government is possibly capitulating. The mythos was useful until it wasn't and now the mythos changes to suit their current interests. A third (up to a million) of the German POW's sent to Russia didn't come back alive. They died in gulags after the war. That isn't good. No one can pretend that is good. How many Volga Germans died? They were Russian and had lived in Russia for centuries. 350,000 died when they were forced Eastward and never allowed to resettle their old lands. They remembered this and when the Soviet Union fell, many of them left for Germany.

As I said, the same arguments Holocaust revisionists used are today being used against Poles that claimed that slavs were exterminated. They claim the Poles are lying to cover up their participation and deny Poles were ever targeted for extermination. They want Polish land and the USA is pressuring Poland into giving it.

The current government appears to be capitulating on this and may enforce it in the future. Enormous pressure is being put on Poland and the mythos is getting ripped up and remodified for this purpose.
