This seems to be a recent bug that has popped up in the last few months. Previously while game start was on hold, the host would pass to someone else, while the game hold continued. Recently though when the host dcs, the hold ends too and the game automatically starts. With the current servers this happens quite a bit leading to many swearing and much remakes ![]()

Well yes, and if the host decides, out of frustration or other reasons, to not connect again? You would have a game with offline host. It would be great if the host would automaticaly pass to another player and the game would remain on hold + the new host should be notified with a system message as it happens when the host is passed willingly by the host itself

I'm not saying not to pass host. I'm proposing exactly what you're saying...
Don't think so. I remember there being confusion about who had the "remove/put on hold" option because the previous host dc'ed.

Hold always used to stay on hold, even if the host DC'ed. so yup its a bugg
