Hey...just noticed that this is one of the newer Federal districts of The Russian Federation, and it's not on the map. Is it because it was fine keeping it "Russia: South" or maybe this just wasn't on anyone's mind? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Caucasian_Federal_District

Too long. And it doesn't even include Volgograd (formerly Stalingrad, before that Tsaritsyn) or Rostov-na-Donu which are currently in Russia:South.

"Russia: Caucasia" would work, wouldn't it? And why does it need Volgograd? It's a completely different district...

Caucasia isn't actually a word. What you're talking about is the Caucasus mountain range. Which is way more south than Volgograd. See, at first I thought you just wanted to rename the region which would make it inaccurate, but now you want to split it. Okay. But that's a bad idea I think because there are no large cities there. We can't artificially inflate populations. I don't think the developers like splitting up countries anyway; they only split up Russia and other big countries as a balance measure. They want to keep it as close to real-life as possible, which means countries don't get split into myriads of chunks!

Well, the only reason I brought it up was because I knew Ivan and Amok based most of the split countries on Federal Districts or other sorts of terms, but when I went to look at the wiki articles I saw the North Caucasus there and thought maybe they left it out or something.

I'm sorry, this would be a pretty pointless division. Yes, we used existing districts to split up Russia, but it doesn't mean we need to follow this rule to the letter.
