Chat not working

I can click to whisper, etc. But it doesn't pick up anything I type. I'm not in fullscreen, so it's not that problem.
I have the latest version of silverlight, and I'm on a Macbook Pro.

I've been having that problem recently on Windows. I know for a fact that playing on a Mac should not affect gameplay at all, having played on one myself.

Anyway, I think it's only if people ignore you... you haven't been a dick to anyone, have you?

With firefox you can't chat on macs, chrome crashes often when moving the map so you'll have to use safari when playing on a mac.
