How about adding a victory condition such as "no eliminations." By that I mean a setting where no one losses. So the game would end after the allocated turn limit with everyone winning. I know most people are competitive, but there are players, and times, where players just want to war, but don't want to kill off the other players like in certain scenario maps . This way, all the players in the game would win, and the time they have spent will benefit everyone, kind of like a predetermined ally end at the start of the game. Again, just a suggestion.

It is an interessting idea, but it will motivate people to make peace/ally everybody and wait for the players that don't to get killed no ?

i think this a good idea... like a 'gentleman's' game option - i know most people are going to have the opinion above, so really, no need to trash the idea... but this is simply an option and a suggestion... there are times when people just want to practice expansion, try things, familiarize yourself with a map, or just explore the intricacies of the game.
