Help Chat Analysis

These are approximate statistics on the information that is shared on the "help channel".
Mind you, the help channel was made strictly for helping other players (hints the name "help channel") and is strictly for that.
As we see in the statistics below, we are utterly failing at Helping other players, and cutting down on the Spam.

Legitimate Questions: 6%
Answered: 37% - Unanswered: 63%

Of the Answered Questions (37%)
Normal Player 53% - Supporter: 26% - Moderator: 21%

Unnecessary Chatter: 90%
Spam 61% - People Told Not to Spam 2% - Games promoted 1%

At least in my case, most of the times I help in PR... Not sure if you've took this into account.

I think that the help channel should'be taken more care of. The first impression of a player looking for help shouldn't be disorder and spam but friendly players willing to help when needed. Sun Tzu is already trying to do this with the coalition pages and I think the same should'be applied for the help channel (be more strict and punish harder).

On the other hand, there are quite many good self-moderation suggestions that could help greatly to reduce this spam, but admins haven't implemented it yet. Adding more active moderators isn't really a long-lasting solution to the spam.

Also, you should consider answering in help chat. Firstly because that is why it is there, secondly to help other players who may have the same question, thirdly to show players (like me) that people are actually helping.

Disagree with the first two, I actually find it very annoying when two people are talking about one specific problem in help channel... But you've got a point in the 3rd one.

How can it be annoying if two people are talking about one single problem on the help channel?
It is annoying when you have 2, 3 or more people all asking different questions. But one can handle that.

And how can you disagree with the second point? It removes all redundancy of questions that have been answered being asked again.

So it's not accurate. Understandable. Next time you should do a weeks worth, instead of three days, because friday saturday and sunday are when most mods are active, so they can prevent help chat abuse. During the week are more trolls. So these stats are very inaccurate.

Irrelevant. Sure, i could get a more accurate assessment of anything over more information. but.... unless you are willing to spend those hours upon hours of research that will be required, I suggest you just be happy with three days. In actuality, it isn't that far from accurate. There were mods online when some of these trolls happen. Also, If the mod removed the message, it was still counted as spam.

That suggestion is satanical global, help, and radio abuse should be approved to relieve spam. No filter shoukd be implemented in any way. No moderation should be increased on room channel. This is the internet if your feeling get hurt leave.

A clanmate was asking in help how does mechanics works, so I was helping him. I took the conversation to clan chat after seeing that it was rather a long topic.

This is the type of issues that I was talking about in this comment... way too long to be explained in help, plus rather odd changes that someone else have this type of problems. I always bring theses long topics to another chat to avoid a flood of texts...
