New player: looking for other new players to dual with

Hello all,

As the title says I am a new player here at "atWar" and so far am loving this game. One of the features of this game that seems awesome are the duals, however I am a big noob so can't really expect to compete with all the veterans I see dueling. Just looking to see if there are other new guys who are in the same place as me, if you are new and want to dual either drop me a private message or respond here.

I would love to get a group of us newer players together so we can learn about the game without getting crushed.

I recommend you duel the veteran players and get crushed i guess , but monitor their moves carefully so you can learn their techniques and skills and then apply them with your own style. The High ranks or as you call them veterans have played this for years and know a lot , where you cant learn much from dueling noobs if i might say

You should first get the SP and upgrades that you need. Trying to duel at this level usually makes it harder for you to climb up later, since the SP earned is very few.

However I like your style I am pretty sure red might be interested in playing you.

Duel your rank and one, two above you to learn some new skills... watch opponents moves, learn from your mistakes, have fun and try to not take it too seriously

this is what i did to get good at dueling played hundreds of games vs top notch players just to learn their tricks and now i can play toe to toe with any player in aw.

Thanks for all the responses, good to see such an active helpful community. I'll reply here to all of you without quotes so that I don't put everyone through a massive wall of text.

Great advise on playing higher ranks and learning tips from them, I have been learning a lot in the main game room which I recently moved up to. (Although I went from winning almost all my games, to almost none of them). I have read a number of guides about strategies both for 1v1 situations and general gameplay which have also been really helpful. But like Clovis said (special thanks to Clovis by the way for writing so many guides) it is hard right now adapting them when I don't have the SP necessary.

In terms of playing people I have only had one guy so far around my rank who is up for it so i'm still on the look out for anyone around my rank that wants to play. As well as higher rank guys who dont mind crushing a new player
