So I just found out that if someone allycaps your cap and you declare war, even if he was your ally the turns he passed controlling it count as time capped, that means with 3 turns settings there is absolutely no way to recap if someone allycaps you. Fix please?

Bug or not it needs to be fixed. Your ally can literally take you as a hostage, then declare war and screw you over.

always leave 1 unit on all your cities/capitals
this is a good feature in case you have to leave. but people can't think smartly enough.

I think its a good thing... it means you have to be careful who you choose as allies.

if it is always been like that it is even worse, i once lost my capital to my ally when he trolled me with 1 soldier i couldn't retake it before 2 rounds and lost the game.

Fun fact if ally allycaps and then surrenders or dies you die automaticly with no chance to recap. I think that's actually a bug.

There's nothing with this system as long as you know how it works. The solution is to better inform players not to change the game, which is easier solution anyway

I am not saying they should remove the ability to take unoccupied ally cities. What I am sugesting is that if an ally takes your cap and then declares war on you, the turn "timer" should start AFTER they declare war on you. Giving you a chance to fight back.

It definitely is a design error and it should be fixed. Allycapping a capital should NOT be rewarded, at the very least the person allycapped should have a chance to fight such treachery.

Allycapped person can fight such treachery simply by putting 1 unit in his capital and he will never lose it by someone's dick move.

Stuff like this is why whenever i'm first making reinf in any map i make one militia if it doesn't already come with one in every city of mine, allycappers are cancerous

Too many players, especially in the beginner's lobby, do not know of this and lose to a higher rank (for beginner lobby metrics) that abuse these mechanics. This is mostly a beginners lobby problem and the fix is quite easy.
