I was working on a map and noticed the 'Ground: Commander' unit.

What does this unit actually do? Does it give buff to stacked troops? Is it similar to a 'general'?

I would like to know what the effect is of adding this Ground: Commander unit, since I want to add Iranian soldiers (assisting Houthi faction) in my Yemen Map, but doubting about what type of unit it should be (Main Defence, Other or perhaps Commander).

It ain't a General. It's just an RP unit.

Unlike Estus states it I think it was originally intended to be used like a general but Ivan and Amok messed up on the buffs, because the unit DOES indeed give buffs, however the buffs are only Air unit buffs as show below:

Maybe it would be nice if a commander could buff Ground: Main Attack & Ground: Main Defence with +1? Just to make the unit actual useful but not overpowered.
