I am a little keen on this idea, but at-war in many ways is relatively simple to me and you should have the option of adding bases and this would make the game more interesting.

Why can ally's make bases on each others lands? For example in a UN game america can back an ally in the middle east but to actually support them with units is very difficult as it takes many turns to go there.

this would add more meaning to the word alliance and allow rich country s to have world influence and allow strategic defensive packs.

So why cant america/any player have the option when it becomes ally's with a country have the option of putting a base down on their territory.
Obviously they couldn't plank down a base anywhere, but only on countries that the ally has kept for more than 4 turns and not close to any units from a forien nation.. what makes the base unique is that you can reinforce with it no matter who owns the country as along as it is an ally.

however a base would cost money per turn like 80, and could only create a maximum of 8 reinforcements at 2x the price of a normal one, so that ally will only use it when nececery. the base can also be destroyed by attacking it or holding it fro a certain amount of turns.

this could just be an option and easy to add/remove.

I am bit of a noob so be nice but i am happy to listen to any other ideas and opinons

Didn't you make topic like this already about aircraft carriers, FOB and terrorist camps? I'm not sure if that was you but i seen exactly the same idea yesterday.

Yeah make sure to check for similar or identical topics like this one.

i like the idea however, good work. Creating bases on different points of the map that can spawn new units seems awesome. Thus, having different types of bases who spawn different units. (one for naval; one for land; one for air etcc)

or different ones for specifics units, like stealths or subs.

You should also be able to name bases,but there would be a 15 character limit.

But remember, this is a city but doesn't produce money. It lowers your income instead. And the more allies you have, the weaker or less bases you can build.
