Admins dont change strats before listening to the community!

I feel it comming. Just like they did with blitz. Some guys cry over an 'op strat' and a couple of mods support this and make sure it gets nerfed. So no. Ivan amok most of us dont want a nerf of RA!! All strats are fine and most of us just want that everything will be kept as it is now!

I can stand discussing about RA. What I cannot stand is to call us "trolls", "noobs", "RA players" that "Doesn't have a mind for think about"... just because we disagree with them.

Fully support crey. I also feel that coming.

Thoughtless cry thread. Nobody elected you to be the voice of the majority and shouting the loudest (!) doesn't make you right. Next time I suggest you do your homework before you decide to spread further misinformation regarding the blitz nerf/buff or any other past strategy changes.

I didn't push for blitz to be nerfed, although I did come to support it after the fact. That is the truth. As for you, seeing as you owe blitz ukr to your success in dueling I can understand why you've always been so eager to have it buffed.

Funny how for others it's "crying" but for you it's "freedom to say what I want". I respect your right to post your feelings but if your post is riddled with lies and inaccuracies you are damn right I'm going to call you out on it.

I have not flamed and I have not insulted anyone. You began this thread saying that guys were "crying" and implying that a small minority mindcontrols the admins and I only responded to that aggressive language.

Look seriously, lets just put aside all the ad hominems and "he said this she said that" for a moment and look at the strat in question shall we? Lets look at numbers and gameplay.

RA at current possesses one of the most powerful default offensive units at the cheapest cost. Its' expansion stealing power is surpassed only by ironfist. Like ds Its gameplay niche is countries with high starting funds. You expand rapidly then overrun with tanks. The cheap costs allow for this much more effectively than ds, and ofc the lack of a defensive counter. Lets look at the offensive power of ra tanks. At current the most powerful defensive counter is pd infantry. Heres a couple of battles of ra tanks vs pd inf.



Now imagine what this does to other strategies. Lets look at some familiar examples. Take a 5k europe duel for example. The dynamic has been completely thrown off. Strategies like gw and imp are no longer viable. Their only hope is to catch the ra stacks on defense with a tb, if they fail theyre eaten alive. Quite a few of us have already experienced this. Your best bet is ironfist. but even then youll be outmaneuvered, out expanded, and you can only defend as well as pd.

lets look at 10k europe, specifically ukraine. At 6700 starting funds you already have the funds to make roughly 70 tanks. Losses on expansion arent that significant and are covered for from gained income. 90 cost is too cheap.

I am not going to propose any nerfs for Relentless attack, i feel here again we have another oppounity to change this strat for the better. Id be curious to see what people think. But lets just all agree that it is clearly broken.

But for the record, el and all the others who are making threads and posts like this, if you wish to be taken seriously you should try composing posts not riddled with fallacies(specifically ad hominems) and attempt to apply some critical thinking to your arguments. These threads need to stop.

1st SS: RA won 5/16 cities
2nd SS: RA won 7/16 cities

RA tanks vs PD infantries 8vs8:





1st SS: RA won 11/16 cities
2nd SS: RA won 9/16 cities.


If we take into account the error margin of every test, the power seems balanced. From all those 4 SS, Ra won more than half in 2, and PD won more than half in 2. Pretty much balanced

You will need to practice for a while if you want to play RA and get in awesome ridiculous op mode though.

Well, to be fair honest i feel that R.A will be Op only wih the general upgrades.

its a r4 account in my ss what else could i be? the tanks are more powerful the more you send, its the same with mos marines and sm bombers. I repeated those tests 3 times for each and posted some of them in another thread. Go repeat the tests yourself. then repeat them as 20 tanks vs 20 inf and 50 tanks vs 50 inf and be amazed as your tank losses decrease and the chances of a pd victory drop close to 0%. a little education on the atwar mechanics for you. You'll then begin to understand why pd isnt as all dominatingly op as you and many others claim. Youre all judging its power from west europe+, A primary pd niche(low starting funds high reins).

Lol Clovis come on man this is sloppy work. It's akin to making 10 battles of 1 gw marine vs 1 militia. Let's say the militia wins out 4 times out of 10. That proves nothing because stacked attacks are always more powerful than 1 on 1 units. You and I both know that if you did an identical test with 10 marines vs 10 militia the marines would win 9 times out of 10.

yeah tehy decrease in high numbers because of critical chance, but in competetive 3v3 cw-s, there was yet no history where player was able to stack ra tanks of such high number, so i don't see why ra should be nerfed since pd is more op in competetive terms of gameplay, and early phase of game.

actually i do so, why early game ? becuz power of ra is in numbers as laochra stated above, if ra tanks have no quantity advantage pd will beat him.
why you don't play pd ? how should i know, i don't play pd as well, but instead of crying pd to be nerfed (like most pd pros said about blitz and ra) i just develop new ways to beat it.
