I respect his love for AW but as I pointed out earlier, he's wrong to make all these claims about the admins and the game's potential.

Assuming from your statement, you have no experience of managing a cash flow, marketing or what it takes to develop a business, then it is highly commendable that you should take the time to tell admins how to run their own business. It has now become slightly more apparent why you prefer to play games with a 50k gold setting.

Where you get this '26k' from I don't know, but the level of revenue generated from this platform is not of your concern or of anybody else's, apart from those responsible for managing it. Attempting to second guess revenue projections based on some 'stat website' is unjustly disrespectful and ifyou really wanted to help you would find ways to assist the admins with recruiting new players and looking at ways of marketing AW yourself, as opposed to instructing people what they should or shouldn't do with their hard earned cash.

Furthermore, your statements don't make any sense, you havn't even stated the currency you are referring to or how you arrive at the stated figures without taking any other operational costs into account. Marketing campaigns come with no guarantee...
£13k (as an example) would be spent in 1 hour on Google Adwords or might buy you a page ad in a magazine with a circa. of 1M readers, yes the platform would see an uplift in traffic, however that uplift would not necessarily convert into paid-for subscriptions.

Nevertheless, the key going forward with html5 I believe, is in retaining players and looking at ways to market the website through 'guerilla marketing' techniques, helping to ensure that the game is punching above its weight in the industry and for every unit of currency invested into the game, AW realises the best possible return . The size of the community and active player base is relatively low, considering how many accounts are registered. Social media outlets are heavily underutilised as marketing tool's. With mass player engagement in twitter, facebook etc. this can be an incredibly economical and effective source to attract new players. Admin do not need to be involved for this to be successful.

Although you haven't told us how you know its 26K and i'm gonna say it makes no difference what currency for the moment, but if it is 26k of anything could be spent very easily on taxes, maintenance, storage and a bundle of other revenue shit and legal stuff.

though most of you guys are arguing on side of the admins as if its not even possible they might just decide to save up for a nice holiday instead of putting it into the game, its their right to do that and how many of you would go for a great holiday if you had that money.
