American Politics: Boehner

Now that the speaker of the house has resigned, do you feel this will be good or bad for the Republicans and government in general? Personally, I feel this is more of a party coup with the Tea Party hardliners achieving a victory. My worry is a more reactionary member will be elected speaker and a government shutdown more inevitable.
