Favorite total war game

Which game do you think stood out the most from the series? In my opinion it'd be M2TW

For me it'd be shogun 2

(playing it now as i type this xd)




Rome TW (never played the second one) and medieval 2 were both fantastic games at the time but the games themselves are pretty bad at base. It was fun back when they first came out because it was new and fun but even for nostalgic purposes they aren't that fun. Shogun 2 and Napoleon TW for me have both been the most fun and most appealing. Atilla is shit, warhammer is just.... no and empire was glitchy and the base game was terrible.

Shogun 2 hands down

But Empire is still the best

I don't think "bad at base" means outdated in any language I simply felt curious as to why he dislikes it

Without mods the game is bad and inaccurate

base = no mods, just the regular game
