Hans Zimmer is imo the best composer of our generation. Tho Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones theme-songs) is also very good.

The Cinematic Orchestra and Ludovico Einaudi also have beautiful music, though this piece of art from Yann Tiersen is just <3

Bit biased since i don't know some of these guys but Hans Zimmer composes straight masterpieces consistently.

Im a big fan of Dmitri Shostakovich.

I like Schubert cause I think he wrote ave Maria, the theme song to hitman: blood money

For me it's either Hans Zimmer or Rob Dougan (Rob Dougan made soundtracks for the matrix like furious angels, clubbed to death and not only for matrix but many other films/movies.)
