Commander Unit

The Ground: Commander Unit does give a buff nowadays, but unfortunately, the wrong units in my opinion.
I questioned the function of the unit some weeks ago, would like to know what you guys think about this suggestion.

Unlike Estus states it I think it was originally intended to be used like a general but Ivan and Amok messed up on the buffs, because the unit DOES indeed give buffs, however the buffs are only Air unit buffs as show below:

Agreed. In practical terms the Commander unit is ineffective. At very least, a Commander should provide a significant defensive bonus to ground units in the stack when attacked by other units...
