Offline Map Editor Client

Could we have an offline map and scenario editor? Sometimes my browser gets unstable and crashes (which I just lost my middle earth map to that happening) and so I think it would be a good idea to be able to save maps locally on a computer and if we lose internet, we can still work on the map or scenario.

That's what I tried, the second time I saved it kept crashing but the first time was successful.

Sorry, this is absolutely not possible with the current engine. It would require a massive reworking of the whole thing to allow saving maps locally.

Dang. Is it because of Microsoft Silverlight or the game engine?
