Actually, battles (in custom maps only) are based on luck. Once I took 8 infantries with my 9 infs, then tried again and lost 9 infs to 4 infs. Also, now I lost 6 infs against 5 militias. I did these tests with "None" strategy by the way. I guess critical hits are op? Can you nerf them or atleast change the critical hit by default?.

I wish the system was more like Europa Universalis where there's a dice, but however the different unit sizes influence the army's power and they go by units of 1 = 1,000 troops, and 0.9 = 900, and so forth.

We have now lowered critical chance to 5% (originally was 20%) - this should help.
