Disbanding uneeded armies

I have noticed that when I conquer a bunch of countries, the upkeep cost for the militia starts to get pretty heavy. It would be great if you could disband armies and they would disappear so you wouldn't have pay for upkeep.

Yes you are right, the cost of militia is a lot...

Something that should have been implemented ages ago, no idea why it hasn't been done.

and you cant send a sea transport over land or build a wall with three units, this game isnt necessarily realistic...

Tell me how you are sending these sea transports all over land!?!? And each unit is a battalion. A battalion is a military unit of around 300-1,200 soldiers. 3 x 300-1,200 = well over enough soldiers to make a defensive line.

I think what he means is you can't stop a sea transport everywhere. Since i could stop a transport somewhere Greenland which is not port and upload units. I might be wrong.

im talking about things like the secret path at france and what our friend here said, these things are just not realistic

This only contributes to unemployment (:P).

I think we should have that option. I don't see my self using it ( a case when see transport i stuck in a city without a port comes to mind), but someone who wants to get rid of his units should have that option.

When u get rid of the troops should get half your money back also if hp is lower than half u get less money back

i am sorry for replying to you, a person that haves problems understanding stuff beyond their point of view, let me explain you something my friend, here in america:

Deploying troops costs money, maintaining them in other country costs more, its simple, you don't wanna pay them? call them back!
then you will have to pay them like always, but you don't pay the war effort!, your taxes does!

therefore:

Infantry [60 to buy] [6 to maintain each turn] [pay 12 to disband] [after disband, you don't have to pay the maintaince] [maybe it can only be disband if the troop is inside a city, and it maybe returns to your recruitment points]
