No please, specially when you don't say it beforehand. Most of players tend to play around no rewalling unless agreed otherwise.

Rewalling too me is just another tactic. Everyone can do it and everyone can find a way to prevent it from occurring.

its 100% ok, i encourage you to do it as it increases your skill level. (before i get downvoted for this, remember that most people wf walls that they break anyways)

All's fair in love and war, goes the poem. If it is possible by the current accepted game mechanics, and players can derive an advantage from it, then it's a valid tactic. I will accept the "no breaking walls in turn 1" rule, since 100% of the community agrees on that, but anything else is, to me, fair game.

Please not another rewalling/wg'ing debate I remember those long as hell forum posts about it. In short, its frowned upon and at least 80% of the community doesn't do it. It's like a further form of walling and only adds more mechanical processes to do instead of strategy to the game.

Re-walling is part of the game mechanics ... get used to it. This discussion is getting really boring. It adds to the skill as it involves more mechanical processors as Tact said, therefore more moves are required in the allocated time. It is easily preventable by placing a wf unit next to the re-wall... as every player that understands the basic game mechanics is aware Also the poll is flawed: the yes results are diluted when it isn't necessary and 'no, its for faggots' can only be construed as leading.

Faggy is an insult to homosexuals... not that i give a shit, therefore your statement makes no sense. On-topic: Just because people do not like it doesn't mean it should be banned or disalllowed. To many noobs are to lazy to put a wf next to their city and then they want to change the rules of the game to suit? Why am I even writing here

I agree not another debate on re-wall... there really is no point to discuss, the rules will never change. Though I am not sure where you get 80% from... judging by the poll it looks almost 50/50 and that is with leading questioning.

Yes, its easily preventable if you can afford extra unit to put a wf near it. Or 2 units ,cuzz some people started using big wall as a rewall. Poll is flawed, sure, whatever you want to think sunishine. But dont.. please dont call rewall a skill. Thing that 2y old child can do is not a skill in this game. Just stop with that..

I put my 3 year old cousin in front of atwar and he was more concerned with trying to eat the mouse. The poll is flawed though, it's not what I think, it is a fact.... Noob Poll And as you say its easily preventable so not cheating. Unlike 1st turn wf which is not preventable, therefore there is a consensus that it should not be allowed.

Just to be clear I had a debate about this with someone yesterday, The scenario was I had a wall around Berlin. During the turn, I used that wall to wall Hamburg, and then made a new wall around Berlin from Czech Rep. I want to know if this is considered as "rewalling" because I'm pretty sure I've done nothing wrong here other than put a new wall around Berlin and move the current wall to another location? Can someone clear this up for me?

yea rewallers will be rewallers and non-rewallers will be non-rewallers. I prefer to win my games by superior play (or luck) rather than further using the game mechanics thank you very much (Don't really disapprove of it but its no fun really, and why would you play the game besides for fun). Anyway, I was quite generous with the 80% since I'm sure at least 90% of the active community doesn't know about rewalling. Furthermore there are a lot (maybe not exactly 80%) of people who know about rewalling yet don't care to use it. This poll only represents a small portion mostly from the competitive community. I think what we can all agree is that using rewalling is a matter of opinion so lets please end this debate and just hate on rewallers ingame.
