Maybe add some new resources like food, water, oil, metal, etc. Different countries would give different amounts. For example, Saudi Arabia would give loads of oil, but not much food or water. USA mountains would give tons of metal, but not much oil.

Troops would cost different things, for example: Tanks would cost a lot of metal and oil, Infantry would be water and food.

I think this could add a whole new dimension to the game and make it much more realistic.

And trading, food for oil.
That would be awesome, but imo too complex to add it to the game, especially in 2min turns.

Good idea, but you'll be able to get the rescources after 2-4 turns, instead of 1 turn, plus it'll start to replace the original "funds" method, and 2nd, where while it show what you got?
