That is the only reason why its this week, the admins have no special event or a holiday week so its just here to act as the admins way of showing that when some map makers hide their maps the admins overreact and give out awards to players who "stay loyal" the maturity level is rather high imo.

2 things:

• "some map makers"; thanks for finally pointing out that the so-called "map maker group" does not exist, it was always about SOME map makers (among them some very respected ones, I agree, I understand concerns, but do not support free use of banlist)
  
• 2xSP week was proposed by some supporters a couple of weeks ago; admins decided it is good stuff and wanted to bring it up ASAP

How does this apply for casual games? I finished a casual game today and didn't get any SP bonus. So for games started this week will they end up getting the x2 bonus upon their completion?

I would make it so that any games completed this week get the double SP but the alternative of having it apply to any games started this weak is just as fine. I just hope that it isn't so you have to join a game and complete it within this week.
