I have played CoD campaigns. They are definitely not the same thing and they are actually amazing stories.

that wasn't your point, I believe your point was that cod was good. now that we have gotten back on line I don't know how your going to convince anyone that it is good when you cant even remember what your own point is. but good luck with that.

{edit} oh also i did play the campaigns and they were shite and that was ages ago, so you comment is as irrelevant as they come

Everyone will have different opinions, I have not bought it this year because its getting repetitive. I understand that all COD's have different campaigns, but unless your telling us that you play campaign for 12 months straight , every COD. Than your argument has no meaning - since we all play Multiplayer/Zombies more than campaign.

The truth simply is that Multiplayer/Zombies are copy and paste of other games put together.
Eg. BO3 - Titalfall (Wall Run), Advance Warfare (Bit slower jet packs, but TOTALLY didn't get the idea from there), CS-GO (The New Crates with customization Camo's), 4 Player Campaign (Never seen that before in other games - Dragon Age), Zombies (same old every year).

If you can't tell (I realized after all this time - silly me), they are more or less the same games each year, what I did can be shown for every COD except MW1, WaW, and MW2 (as all these games had unique features that shaped COD to what it is today).

Back to BO3, the hype will die anywhere from March - May, than everyone will be wasting countless hours watching YouTube videos about the next installment of COD.
