Had this idea just last night, and thought a bit about it for a while, adding and removing advantages and disadvantages from the strategy. Anyway, here it is: "Conqueror" Strategy +2 Attack against neutral units +1 Attack against other players -2 Reinforcements from outside your home country.

Ridiculously overpowered. The idea of just capturing a capital alone is too powerful for anything. Other than that the idea isn't really thought out too well and it doesn't balance like the already established one do.

"Capturing a neutral capital will instantly place all the other cities in that country in your control." Stopped right there.

Hmm. Yeah, guess my half-asleep brain didn't think that one out too well. Any suggestions?

My suggestion (it will be crazy) will knock your socks off. - 160% unit cost - +2 off/def all land/air units - -1 range land/air units - -1 reinforcement from all occupied cities This was all thought up on the spot so it's probably a horrible idea.

Having the cap give you all cities is a terrible idea, however various bonuses for taking neutral territory, at the expense of reinforcements from said territory might be nice.

maybe something like +1 bonus to attack when battling a neutral unit but the reinforcement for capitals outside your home country is reduced by 2 (min 1)? Maybe also a small penalty to attack or defense when facing other players to balance it out?

I could see that working, since you're overly aggressive and brutal in taking territory, said territory doesn't support you. So it's harder to recruit/draft people (thus lower reinforcements), and they're likely to side with an invading force thus decreasing your stats when attacked in such a city. So while you may take territory quicker, it wont be as valuable.

So then, how about: +1 attack bonus against Neutral units. -2 reinforcements gained from anywhere but your home capital. And maybe the increased transport capacity?

I suggest: +2 attack against neutral cities +1 attack against enemies -2 reinforcements outside your country Thats to balance it out a bit
