2 questions! first: what is the difference between defense and HP, meaning an infantry for instance has 6 defense and 7 HP, if a tank attacks him with an attack of 8, it will be 8 vs 6 right? (excluding the crit chance), what is the significance of the 7 HP of the infantry! Second: If I attack an infantry with a tank and kill him, will the tank has the same strength next turn? same 8 attack power? or is it here that the HP plays its role and the tank would have 6 less HP due to last turn's defense of the infantry? where can I find all the details of these mechanics!

I don't understand where the ''Tanks now deals 3 damage and Infantry also 5'' comes from? Can someone explain this to me?

If you've played RISK or other die rolling games, you'd understand. It's a random 'roll' with the damage being a number between 1 and the maximum for that unit.
