War To End All Wars | Tournament?

This thread will be used to determine are we going to have enough people to play it, and what kind of rules or type or tournament would it be.

I had in mind this:

- tournament with 4 team, elimination rounds
- teams play 2 times, once as Entente and once as CP. If it is 1:1 then third match is played.
- teams must have minimum 6 players, cuz that is minimum number to play Entente, who has most picks. I guess it is better to have more for better and easier organisation of the matches.

That is about it. Give your opinion.

Id play it if illy were active. But this is the whole teamgame tourney problem all over again except on a larger scale. Getting teams online at the same time will be a nightmare. One things for sure is that youll need to allow more than 6 on a team to even hope this will work.

Just have everyone who wants to play sign up and then we can sort out the teams, choosing teams wont work as certain players are lil bitches who want play with someone else unless forced to.

Of course you can register 10, 9 players, i just said that 6 is minimum, for obvious reason.

Btw, one member pm'ed me and gave sugestion that format of this competition could be mini league, everyone plays everyone, 3 points for win, 1 for draw, winer is team with most points.
As for teams, he suggest something like draft, you would have 4 captains that chose playes from pool for their team.

I wish play it but need a players list with the right number of players, then extraction by chance, with rank balanced. If team are not balanced is not funny. No one should choose members of their own team.:thumbup:

ideas:
think we need to form teams by our own
if teams isnt balanced its the team maker problem for filling teams with bad players
shall be rank limit(6 or 7)
to make games count need to take ss of players in start of the game and ss of players in end of the game
if game fail early(before t5 or so) he dont count
people who leave t4 because their team fucked(like otto losing gaza early or galipoli early or ah rushed italy t2 and things like that) banned out of the tournament(only the player who left, team shall not be banned if it happend less than 3 times)

edit: wf on porpuse(prussia-russia border wf is acceptable if not abused) is ban from tournament( players can discuss if they keep playing if no abuse)
using glitches such trenches gliches, first turn peace, walling glitches( example: getting into greece because of serb wall that cross over the trench and then use it to cap serb) is auto ban if early game and auto lose in after early game

Furthermore, I consider that NWE must be destroyed

No abusing gliches(will get you banned from ww1 in general probably)
no sea walling
no rewalling
no wall fucking(if happend by mistake then no abuse)
no entry enemey country t1(NOTE: if someone enter your country by a pixel dont even bother to report)
no leaving because of any reason but the following reasons(will result a lose):
wf abused
glich abused
(you can add more reasons, might accept)
(for any rq, you choosed the team, dont blame your picks)


teams dont need to be balanced, its team maker problem he made the team weak
using glitches before t5 may result a ban for the abusing player
after turn 5 it may result lose to the team in the game
screenshot need to be taken at start of the game and in its end(with turn shown)

teams can agree on the amout of games by themself, minimun 1 maximun 3 (if picked 2 and a tie then a 3rd game)
you need to agree on amout before the first game, if you cant agree talk with tournament host
you agree on which team is cp and which team is ent, if cant agree tournament host will choose

Failed before it even started, you cant have people sign up teams like this, it will never work. Have everone who wants to play sign up and then top 4 wwi players amongst those signed up choose their team.
