We have to be truthful; thereare 80 million americans with full time jobs (50% of the workforce), they are the backbone of american economy, the rest are reppers, cat hairstylists, dog whisperers and reality players.
It would be better if theyd comprise 100% of the economy, but 50% is enough for a country to live, or not to collapse. Problem is, as you say, their enormous debt, and repaying it won't kill them. Interest rates will (usury).

As time goes by, interest rates will climb. Their only option now (oligarchical) is predatory capitalism - to conquer and colonize in order to find more land and resources (true value) and back up the debt with it.

This is the reason, why US oligarchs start wars all over the place; iraq, libya, syria, trying to start wars in iran, venezuela, russia. When they win a war, they take local resources, make a documentions of its property, send those papers to the bankers to prove credit, assets and equity, and bankers in return print them more money.
And then they tell people 'dollar is not backed by anything, it is free floating, it is valuable if you believe in it', while they themselves use resources to peg the currency.

In 2014 during Ukrainian Crisis, thousands of russians posted on social media supporting invasion of ukraine 'putin vvedi voyska' (putin send army), so much that they had to issue videos with explanation why is russian invasion of ukraine bad, they explained that if russia invades, american will interfere and so world war would start where america wins due to their industry being far away from the war, and because more russians and europeans (US allies) would die than americans.

Its the best to avoid war and defend only if necessary, don't fall for provocations, political official insults, snarky comments or enemy troops provocing you on the ground (like us troops does to russians in syria, you can check youtube)

We are going off-topic here and you contradict yourself:

You say people are happy what they do and then you say machines are replacing our jobs. So how can people be happy if they are being replaced 'on their calls'?

Your call makes you what you are, its part of your identity. You only school yourself 10-15 years, you are only retired 10-20 years, but you work 40-50 years, its a big part of your life. People are naturally happy when they work liked jobs for long time, so if they are being replaced by machines, and have to compete for new jobs every 1-2 year, how is that happiness for you?

I think this connected to another topic; i always tell friends to name me german, chinese or japanese economic products, and they can go all day. Then i ask them to name russian, american or english and they struggle. This is not entirely related to our topic, but it shows the aims, goals and thinking of some people and nations. Some focus on fast money, others on products that people daily consume.

Do you know what productivity means?

On average someone from russia is far less productive in his job than someone from netherlands.

Furthermore, in Netherlands i think the average workweek per person is like 28 hours per week. In russia its around 38 hours per week.

A full time job,is almost everywhere the same around 36 - 42 hours per week.

The difference between countries with low averages and high, is because these countries spend more time educating themselves, even while working. Furthermore, their salary is high, so they dont need to work 5-6 days a week to provide for themselves. In russia you need to work that 40 hours a week to provide for your primary needs.
Then there is the government, which provides for you when you dont have work. In russia, i dont think the government will provide for you as much as in the netherlands.

In finland/ norway/ swiss and even in the usa (1960s- 1970s) there were experiments with basic income, which meant no matter if you worked or not you got a basic income which provided for your primary needs. I dont think Russian government has that kind of money to give to its people.

And now about how this is possible? Well our industry is very different than Russian industry. We are service centered, and not a manufacturing industry.
The manufacturing type of our industry, we have long ago outsourced it to foreign countries. This did not mean that we lost jobs. It just meant that we created new industries. The stigma about being replaced by machines is like 40 years ago. Ironically, this means that some countries, probably russia are in this stigma now.

Now about productivity and happiness. WD is right. When you hate your job, your productivity goes down. When you love and do what you love, your productivity goes up. Its all about productivity. When you can make 100 food while needing only 1 person and russia can make 1 food while needing 1 person, this means that most of your population will use their time to produce such a product. The better the productivity, the stronger/ economically better the country becomes.
This is literally the basis for GDP per capita and why the west has bigger gdp.

And to give an example of productivity:
The netherlands is the second biggest exporter of food in the whole world, only second to the USA. Bigger exporter of food than whole of china, russia or even germany.
