Could anybody help me, what is the detailed mechanism of battle?

I see tat battle is splitted into rounds, but:
- which unit(s) give attacking damage? /what is the selection criteria, if any
- which unit(s) receiving that damage? /what is the selection criteria, if any
- which unit(s) give defending damage?
- which unit(s) receiving that damage?

- does any effect of decreased HP to the attacking/defending damage caused?

Let's see an example with
attacking: 2 tanks, 4 infantry, 3 militia
defending: 1 tank, 3 infantries and 3 militias

Set battle results speed to slow, from the in game settings. It might help.

- which unit(s) give attacking damage? /what is the selection criteria, if any
The highest atk unit first

- which unit(s) receiving that damage? /what is the selection criteria, if any
The highest def unit first (I might be wrong)

- which unit(s) give defending damage?
Defending units give defending damage, attacking units give attacking damage, always, no exceptions. So a Tank will always roll 1 to 4 while defending, an Infantry will always roll 1 to 6 while defending.

- which unit(s) receiving that damage?
The highest atk unit?

- does any effect of decreased HP to the attacking/defending damage caused?
No, also HP refreshes back to full (7 by default for most units) when a unit survives.


Someone should correct me, I feel like something I said is wrong. Probably not though.

Let's create a scenario!!




Stack A
3 ➣ 7 Attack Soldiers (Let's name it "Uno")
1 ➣ Another 7 Attack Soldier (Let's name it "Dos")
1 ➣ 5 Attack Soldier (Let's name it "Tres")

Stack B
2 ➣ 6 Defense Soldiers (Let's name it "One")
1 ➣ 5 Defense Soldiers (Let's name it "Two")




Here are the rules you should be aware of...
1 ➠ Whoever gets to Attack/Defend from Both Stacks will be determined on who has the highest Attack or Defense Value...
"In this case, it's the Uno or Dos who has 7 Attacks compared to One who only has 6 defense"

2 ➠ Uno and Dos have the same damage potential, that is why in this case, the determining factor of this will be whoever has the better stats in the other department, an example of which is the HP. (Warning: This is speculation)

3 ➠ Damage is dealt by throwing dice from 1 (the least damage Uno can deal) to 7 (the most damage Uno can deal)... Afterward, the resulting number is deducted to the HP of the unit with the highest defense. (which is One)

4 ➠ After the damage is done, it's now One's turn (since One has the highest defense). Same 3rd Rule, however, it's using their defense stat.
"To answer your question, only a single unit may attack once."

5 ➠ When a unit lands a dice roll, say, 6 damage but the defending unit only has 1 HP left. The remaining -5 damage after deduction will be dealt with the NEXT unit of the same type. [Infantry to Infantry] (if not, then the damage will be dealt from One to Two)

6 ➠ This process repeats until no unit is left alive from both sides.

Let's try solving this Problem!!

attacking: 2 tanks, 4 infantry, 3 militia
defending: 1 tank, 3 infantries and 3 militias





First, we must determine each unit's attack in defense.

Attacking:
Tank ➟ 8 Attack
Infantry ➟ 4 Attack
Militia ➟ 3 Attack

Defending:
Infantry ➟ 6 Defense
Militia ➟ 4 Defense
Tank ➟ 4 Defense




Next, we must determine both sides' total HP per the same classification of the unit.

Attacking:

Tank ➟ 14 HP
Infantry ➟ 28 HP
Militia ➟ 21 HP

Defending:

Infantry ➟ 21 HP
Tank ➟ 7 HP
Militia ➟ 21 HP




With that out of the way! Let's create a simulation under the following rules:

➢ Critical Rate and Damage won't be counted to ease explanation
➢ Stack Bonuses won't be counted to ease explanation




Total HP of Attacker vs Total HP of Defender
Round 1:

14/28/21 - 21/7/21

Tank attacks for 3 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to 18 [4/7/7 between 3 Infantries]

Round 2:

14/28/21 - 18/7/21

Infantry defends for 4 Damage ➵ Tank lose HP down to 10 [3/7 between 2 Tanks]

Round 3:

10/28/21 - 18/7/21

Tank attacks for 6 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to 12 [0/5/7 between 3 Infantries]

Round 4:

10/28/21 - 12/7/21

Infantry defends for 5 Damage ➵ Tank lose HP down to 5 [0/5 between 2 Tanks]

Round 5:

5/28/21 - 12/7/21

Tank attacks for 7 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to 5 [0/0/5 between 3 Infantries]

Round 6:

5/28/21 - 5/7/21

Infantry defends for 6 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to -1 [0/0 between 2 Tanks]
(The -1 will now go to Infantry, from 28 to 27 with 6/7/7/7 respectively)

Round 7:

0/27/21 - 5/7/21

Infantry attacks for 2 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to 3 [0/0/3 between 3 Infantries]

Round 8:

0/27/21 - 3/7/21

Infantry defends for 5 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to 22 [1/7/7/7 between 4 Infantries]

Round 9:

0/22/21 - 3/7/21

Infantry attacks for 4 Damage ➵ Infantry lose HP down to -1 [0/0/0 between 3 Infantries]
(The -1 will now go to Tank due to having better qualities than a Militia, from 7 to 6)



So on and so forth....

CRIT. ➙ Ultimate Balancer... Every unit has a critical rate stat where 1 equals to 1% chance of dealing critical damage. Critical damage is [Your Roll + The Maximum Roll] meaning that assume your Tank has 7 Attacks and it rolls for 4 Damage, however, the critical rate activates. Then you now deal [4+7 = 13 Damage] in a single instance.

Stacking Bonus ➙ I generally have no idea how that works sadly... Just remember is the bigger the stack, the better the chance it'll perform high rolls.
