Casual Communication Revamp

Hello,

There should be an option to register your phone number with your account.
When registered, there should be another option to receive notifications via text message, including 1. end of casual game turns and, (somewhat unrelated), 2. in-game private messages 3. in-game private mail

Email notifications are OK, but I believe in this feature and I think it should take precedence for a number of reasons:

Many people have alt accounts and/or do not input valid email addresses.

Email address notifications are (usually) delayed so you don't know when exactly your casual turn ends. Worst case scenario, you forget for two days both to check the casual game and your email.

Text messages would not just provide a good solution to the problem of having only email notifications, but it is a good idea in itself for other reasons: 1. casual games would finish quicker and thereby increase gameplay, 2. it would bring atwar into your social life by receiving real-time notifications over text message; this would especially apply if someone could enable notifications for in-game private messages: it would elevate atwar to the same playing field as your mother, father, and friends whom you communicate with via text.

there's uncertainty, but within that uncertainty there's a valuable trade-off. The likelihood of a trade-off that's worth it depends on deep philosophical analysis. If we stare into the stars in the pitch dark sky, then there we may find the answer in orion's belt or perhaps in our very own solar system.
