What's the Deal with General: Cost?

Topic title says everything. I've done numerous (translation: 2) solo tests on the upgrade, trying to verify its claim that the general reduces upkeep of each unit by 4. I've checked through the finances tabs, done the Math, and I assure you all that General Cost does nothing. Did a search in the forums and I can't find any references to this apparent glitch.

So what's wrong with it, and can it be fixed? If it can't, I would highly recommend that it be removed from the game entirely, and the SP refunded to whomever bought it (don't blame me, I bought it as a noobish rank 6).

I think Chess is correct. There's a similar bug with the tooltips (it may be fixed now). When you hover over a tank using Tank General (or relentless attack or whatever it is called now) strategy it shows the default tank attack value rather than the increased attack value from the strategy.

There has been bugs in finances forever, sometime i have built 200 bombers in a turn and it has displayed as 600 in finance and given me a negative income. aha.

it all fixes up and it calculated at the end of the turn though it seems.

Those stem from bugs in the units counter. Oftentimes the game counts up 50 to 100 more units than I have and I think I'm winning/losing when I'm not.
